As a unique company, last June Vallnord received the certification for its Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment and Health and Safety in the Workplace based on the regulations ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.
These regulations guarantee the company’s commitment to maintain its profitability while reducing the impact on the environment, with efficient management that satisfies our customers’ needs and expectations, at the same time promoting a safe and healthy working environment that helps to reduce the number of accidents, complies with the legislation in force and improves performance.
Additionally, and in line with Vallnord’s position as a family resort, it also obtained the Q certification for the children’s parks which guarantees the safety and comfort of the children’s products offered in the three sectors of Vallnord. This means the resort is working continuously to meet children’s needs and requirements, in particular, and families’ needs in general.
It was the prestigious BUREAU VERITAS Certification company that was in charge of carrying out all these inspections that were satisfactorily passed and that granted the certification for all these fields. These certifications are approved by the Spanish ENAC institution (National Accreditation Company) and its equivalent in the United Kingdom, UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service).
Unified certification
Since 2003, before VALLNORD was created, both SECNOA (Ordino Arcalís) and EMAP (Arinsal-Pal Mountain Resorts) already had these certifications, although they were granted by different certifying bodies. The difference between these and the certification obtained in 2009 is that this latter one is for just one company, VALLNORD, granted by just one certifying company and including all the services provided in the three sectors of the resort, for its winter activities as well as its summer activities, and paying particular attention to the children’s services.
